INTRODUCTION
Senior Volunteer Engagement Class is designed to encourage seniors to cultivate healthy lifestyle habits and enhance physical and mental vitality. This course combines traditional health-focused Tai Ji practice with a health talk, allowing participants to learn about wellness in a relaxed and enjoyable environment. Through this experience, learners can gradually develop greater awareness and skills in managing their own health.
During the Tai Ji segment, the instructor will guide participants through easy-to-learn movements that help improve balance and flexibility, promote circulation, relieve stress, and foster overall physical and mental relaxation. The gentle and safe exercises are suitable for seniors of varying fitness levels.
The health talk will cover practical wellness knowledge, including daily health care, prevention of common chronic conditions, and cultivation of good lifestyle habits. This session aims to help participants understand how small, everyday changes can support a healthier life.
To express our appreciation for the long-term dedication and support of senior Tzu Chi volunteers, this course is specially offered to volunteers aged 60 and above. We look forward to building and nurturing healthier lives together.
