INTRODUCTION

Chinese Hardpen Calligraphy is a practical and expressive form of handwriting using everyday tools such as fountain pens, gel pens, or ballpoint pens. This course is designed to help you improve the quality of your Chinese handwriting, develop a strong sense of structure and rhythm, and discover the artistic side of daily writing.

In this course, you will:

  • Learn proper writing posture and pen grip

  • Practice essential strokes and character structure

  • Explore spacing, alignment, and page layout

  • Strengthen your observation and copying skills using model examples

  • Apply techniques to creative writing, journaling, note-taking, and more

Whether you’re just starting out or looking to refine your handwriting, this course offers a focused and calming environment to slow down, write with purpose, and reconnect with the beauty of Chinese characters—one stroke at a time.
