Yoga for Midlife and Beyond

When people reach middle age, they have increasing career and family responsibilities. As they still need to support their parents and children, they must continue working for an income. However, their bodily functions begin to weaken at this stage of life. Amid their busy lives where they have to juggle multiple roles, they tend to ignore their health care needs.

To address the health care needs of middle-aged people, we have organised a yoga course that offers practices which students can adopt in daily life. The course teaches how to cultivate good dietary habits, strengthen immunity, and prevent diseases, enabling students to face their everyday challenges with a healthy and energetic body and mind.

Teacher’s Profile

Mdm Liw Tiam

Mdm Liw is a qualified Indian Hatha Yoga instructor. She is passionate about guiding and helping students to understand their body, enhance their emotional strength and boost their self-confidence. Her Yoga lessons help learners to face life with a positive outlook, thus attaining health and inner peace.

We regret that this course is not suitable for pregnant women, people with osteoporosis, bone pain or injuries, and people with severe diabetes, high cholesterol, and high blood pressure (blood pressure greater than 140 mmHg).
